The Walk

The Annual Smile Oregon Walk & Family Picnic

July 16, 2022

Popcorn, ice cream sandwiches, over-the-top amazing face painting, juggling, balloon art, crafts and live music made for a pretty incredible 10th Anniversary Smile Oregon Walk & Family Picnic! While all of that was truly epic, seeing all of you was the absolute highlight!

Our hearts are always filled by the enthusiasm, energy and bright smiles of all of our Smile Oregon kids. There is a certain spark about our Smile Oregon community that’s special and just stands out.

We want to thank everyone who worked so hard to make our annual walk possible. Our sponsors generously give so that we are able to host this event at no cost to our families. Thank you to Realty Works Group, Garfinkle Orthodontics, Dairy Hill Ice Cream and Cheers to You Party Goods for your incredible generosity!

Also, our cohort of volunteers hustled to oversee every little detail of the walk. THANK YOU for serving us so well. We appreciate you!

Lastly, we are so fortunate to have a longstanding group of professionals who come to our walk year after year to share their talents with our community. Thank you to Joe Mishkin with Not Your Average Joe Balloon Art; Juggle & Unicyclist Travis Dockter; our talented face painter, Julie with The Gilded Cat; Photographer Keven SalazarThe Corey Foster BandCHAP; and our inspiring Quin sharing his newly published book, Smile^z. And last, but not least, thank you Ms. Faith for bringing the spirit and getting our walk started on the best tone!
